H. Richard  Webster

H. Richard Webster is known to his peers as Rich Webster.  Rich’s practice as a personal injury attorney in Des Moines and Iowa includes a wide range of areas of the law.  However, he specifically has been active as a burn injury lawyer in Iowa and throughout the Midwest.    Burned himself over 63% of his body, Rich was represented in a lawsuit by Hanson, Bjork & Russell, L.L.P., after which he attended the University of Iowa College of Law.  Rich has authored articles appearing in publications such as Trial magazine, and maintains several websites regarding his burn injury practice and counseling.   He also practices in the areas of insurance defense, family law, and business law in Des Moines and in Iowa. 
He is a Certified Family Law Mediator.


Rich holds a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a pilot’s license.   He is a well known musician in Iowa, singing and playing guitar and piano in his own band.
