Hanson, Bjork & Russell, L.L.P., is a trial and general practice law firm. The firm is located in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, in the Equitable Building. Tracing its beginnings back to the early 1900s, the firm took on its present name in 1982.

While a full-service law firm, Hanson, Bjork & Russell has a heavy litigation emphasis, recognized for its trial attorneys in Iowa. The firm has long had an insurance defense practice, presently representing insurance companies from around the country when they need an insurance lawyer in Iowa. The firm has expanded that practice to represent and try cases for corporations, small businesses, banks, and individuals, in state and federal court.
